Bowder Stone
A huge perched boulder in Borrowdale, a short walk from the road.
The Bowder Stone is an enormous boulder in the woods of Borrowdale, between Grange and Rosthwaite, in the care of the National Trust. A ladder reaches the top. It is an easy stop on a Borrowdale day, not a fell walk.
