Brothers Water
A small lake under Kirkstone Pass, between Hartsop and the top of the pass.
Brothers Water is the small lake on the Kirkstone road, south of Patterdale and north of the Kirkstone Inn. Middle Dodd and High Hartsop Dodd rise on either side. It is a pause on the way to Ullswater rather than a lake for boats. The path toward Hayeswater and High Street leaves the valley just to the north, at Hartsop.
