Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway
A steam railway at the foot of Windermere, connecting with the lake cruisers at Lakeside.
The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway is a short heritage line at the southern end of Windermere. Lake cruisers meet the trains at Lakeside in season, so you can combine a boat from Bowness with the ride. Check both operators for the connection before you rely on it.
