Levens Hall
An Elizabethan house south of Kendal, famous for its topiary garden.
Levens Hall is an Elizabethan house just south of Kendal, with a topiary garden that has been clipped in something like its present form for centuries. It is on the approach to the lakes from the M6, a stop before Windermere rather than a valley walk.
