Little Mell Fell is a 505 m Wainwright in the eastern fells, above Matterdale. The smaller twin of Great Mell Fell, a simple grassy cone above the same open country. A usual day starts from Glenridding and takes about 2–4 hours. This guide grades it easy, judging distance and steepness in fair summer conditions.
