Rossett Pike is a 651 m Wainwright in the southern fells, above Great Langdale. A small summit above Stake Pass, on the watershed between Langdale and Wasdale. It is an easy addition to the pass. A usual day starts from Great Langdale and takes about 6–8 hours. This guide grades it strenuous, judging distance and steepness in fair summer conditions. Read a mountain forecast before a high fell, and turn back if the ridge is in wind, cloud, or ice.
