Seatoller
The hamlet at the foot of Honister Pass and the gate to Seathwaite.
Seatoller is the last hamlet in Borrowdale before Honister Pass. The road to Seathwaite, the usual Borrowdale start for Scafell Pike and Great Gable, leaves just to the south. There is a National Trust information point and a cafe in season. It is a better place to begin a high walk than Keswick if you already have a car or the Borrowdale bus.
