Wordsworth House
The National Trust house in Cockermouth where William Wordsworth was born.
Wordsworth House is a Georgian town house in Cockermouth, the poet’s birthplace, looked after by the National Trust. It is a town visit on the northern edge of the lakes, not a fell day. The garden runs down to the River Derwent.
