Binsey is a 447 m Wainwright in the northern fells, above the back of Skiddaw. A solitary low fell north of Skiddaw. From the road it is about an hour to the top and back. A usual day starts from Caldbeck and takes about 1–2 hours. This guide grades it easy, judging distance and steepness in fair summer conditions.
