Boot
The hamlet at Dalegarth, the inland end of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
Boot is a hamlet in Eskdale, next to Dalegarth station on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. It is the practical start for Harter Fell and the walks up the valley toward Hardknott. Eskdale is listed separately as the wider valley. There is a pub and little else, which suits the western dales.
