Shipman Knotts is a 587 m Wainwright in the far eastern fells, above Kentmere. The rocky continuation south of Kentmere Pike, toward the foot of Longsleddale. A usual day starts from Staveley and takes about 6–8 hours. This guide grades it strenuous, judging distance and steepness in fair summer conditions.
