Stock Ghyll Force
A waterfall in the woods above Ambleside, a few minutes from the town centre.
Stock Ghyll Force is a waterfall in the wooded gill directly above Ambleside. The path leaves the town near the old market and climbs beside the beck. It is a short outing, not a fell walk, and the rocks are slippery after rain.
