Allan Bank
A National Trust house on the edge of Grasmere, where you can sit in and light a fire.
Allan Bank is a National Trust house above Grasmere village, once briefly Wordsworth’s home. Visitors can use the rooms, make a drink, and walk in the grounds. It is a different visit from Dove Cottage: less museum, more a place to be in bad weather.
