Dove Crag is a 792 m Wainwright in the eastern fells, above Grasmere and Ambleside. A cliff-sided fell on the Fairfield horseshoe, above Dovedale. The walking route stays on the ridge. A usual day starts from Grasmere and takes about 6–8 hours. This guide grades it strenuous, judging distance and steepness in fair summer conditions.
