Fairfield is a 873 m Wainwright in the eastern fells, above Grasmere and Ambleside. The high, flat summit of the horseshoe above Grasmere and Ambleside. The full circuit takes in the ridges on both sides. A usual day starts from Grasmere and takes about 6–8 hours.
